I found this cooking website today through a friend, the official site is in chinese and they also have an English translated one:

CHN: http://www.christinesrecipes.com/

ENG: http://en.christinesrecipes.com/

Now I know how they make all those chinese desserts.... hahahaha XD;

Random stuff, I've started to drink bits of cider vinegar lately... the taste is quite addicting lol. They say it's good for you (Of course, under a reasonable consuming amount). It's like drining alcohol without alcohol lol. (And most people recommend toning it down with water and add honey to sweeten it.)

Oh yeah, this may sound early to you all but I'll be going back home during the Easter break. My brother wanted to see me and he thought of coming over to my place, but in the end we decided that me going back home would be way cheaper. I'll just have to dread flybe again...

Ever experienced that some one came up to you (whether in real life or digitally) said hi to you and thought you remembered them? I hardly remember people that have nothing memorable about (I sound cruel lol, but really if I don't remember then I don't remember) I had this girl that friended me in FB, she changed her name, her hair and her picture was in B & W, how does she expect me to remember her?
I never liked the idea that people think you and them are best buddies and stuff when they know completely nothing about you. Fine, you're a normal friend but we're not best friends, why should I tell you my whole life eh?

Hmmm...is getting sleepy.... ^^;

Ah~, I brought a Chinese cook book just to make those desserts. D:

Cider vinegar? Sounds... sour. ^^;

I feel the same way, but at the same time feel guilty for not remembering who they are. XD;; I have someone who always greets me a Happy Christmas every year through e-mail, yet I'm afraid of insulting them by asking them who they are. XD;

Well, at least you could see what the differences are? (Or different methods) I too wanted to go find some chinese recipes - providing if they don't use silly measurements and materials that I can't get here lol.

Lol, actually I find it toleratable, but usually people drink it diluted. (Diluted = added more water right?) Some people may not like the smell, but the idea of hot water & honey & cider vinegar helps your sore throat if you ever get a flu. I learned that from my canadian flatmate - which the method was awesome for me =)

Yeah... as long as they have 'no hard feelings' XD; I guess I must be cruel, or maybe that I simply don't care, my brain doesn't have that much space to remember people that didn't do something memorable to me ^^;
I do remember one time that a girl came up to me and I totally don't remember her. She was quite embarrassed though ^^; But later I remembered her but I didn't say anything as it was after I got home. She was a nice person, I did feel guilty for that. But my lesson is that if I don't remember then I just don't remember 8D;

The cook book that I had did use the American style of measuring ingredients which was a pain for me. X_x

Yes, diluted is to water it down.
Hmm, I wonder if I can find some cider vinegar in my local store. If it works, then I'm interested. ^^

No worries, it's the same for me. I can't be expected to remember someone who only talked to me once or twice in a long while. Like you, if they don't do anything memorable then it's really hard for me to remember them.
This is so common when my mom asks me if I remember one of her friends/aunties that would come to visit once every 2 or so months. I usually answer negatively. XD; I mean, I just say hi to them, serve tea, then leave to do my own thing. Hardly remember what they look like. ^^;

Gah American style (No offense but doesn't suit us over here x_X)

Well, if you ever get one don't have more than 1 & 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar in your drink. It may be healthy but an overdoes is a no-no ^^;
And the smell may get some time to get used to it.

Hahaha that's SO like my mom - only that she seems to give up asking me that unless I see them a lot now. She just knows I can't remember - especiallly since she's got tons of friends that I haven't even met before - which is a nightmare for me 8D;

I know, it's troublesome to try and figure out some of the measurements. ^^;

I'm sure to not go overboard. Everything in moderation. ^^

Well for you at least there's the excuse that your mother have plenty of friends. My mom has a closer circle of friend and would still ask. My brother remembers, I just fail in remembering anything one of her friends. XD; I have bad memory.
